Famed Russian filmmaker Nikita Mikhalkov finds inspiration from the Iranian film 'Muhammad: The Messenger of God'. 

Renowned Russian filmmaker Mikhalkov expressed his deep admiration for Iranian director Majid Majidi's critically acclaimed film, 'Muhammad: The Messenger of God,' during a ceremony for signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Russian Cinematographers' Union and Iran's Farabi Film Foundation.

Mikhalkov hailed the Iranian production for its significant influence on his perception and comprehension of Islam, emphasizing its profound impact.

The chairman of the Russian Cinematographers' Union watched the film during its screening in Moscow and noted that he was left with no questions about the religion.

"Muhammad: The Messenger of God," portrays the childhood of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The film offers an account of the early life of the Prophet and has received international critical acclaim for its merits.

Mikhalkov's comments highlight the power of cinema in bridging cultural gaps and fostering understanding among diverse communities.
